The StuG III Ausf. G was the final and most numerous version of the Sturmgeschütz III family. Built on the proven Panzer III chassis, it combined a low silhouette with increasingly effective anti-tank firepower and became one of Germany's most important armoured fighting vehicles during the later years of the war.

Produced from late 1942 onward, the Ausf. G saw extensive service from 1943 through to the end of the conflict, operating alongside German infantry, Panzergrenadiers and armoured formations across multiple fronts.

The StuG III Ausf. G is particularly well suited to Mid and Late War German forces, providing a versatile armoured vehicle for assault-gun batteries, infantry-support formations and anti-tank units.

Introduced at the end of 1942 and produced throughout the remainder of the war, the Ausf. G is suitable for German forces representing campaigns from 1943 through to 1945.

The StuG III Ausf. G has direct equivalents in major WW2 tabletop systems including Bolt Action and Flames of War, making it a useful addition for players using those systems at 15mm scale.

The kit also includes an alternative short-barrelled gun which can be used for modelling variety or scenario-specific purposes, although the standard historical Ausf. G was a long-gunned vehicle.

Designed for use alongside other 15mm WW2 miniatures, it can also be incorporated into other historical tabletop wargaming systems where appropriately scaled third-party miniatures are permitted.
