The entry of US ground forces into North Africa brought a distinctive mix of tanks, tank destroyers, artillery and mechanised vehicles to the battlefield. As the war progressed through Tunisia, Sicily and Italy, American armoured formations rapidly evolved around increasingly capable equipment.
The range includes models such as the M3 Lee, M4 Sherman 75mm, M3 75mm Gun Motor Carriage, M7 Priest, M10 Wolverine and M5A1 Stuart.
Several of these vehicles continued into the Late War period and may therefore appear in both Mid War and Late War collections where appropriate.
