Game Frame, what’s that?

What is Game Frame?
How can the Game Frame System help you? If your game takes up your entire table, where do you put your drink? It’s a simple enough question, but if you think it through this highlights a few other problems that could be more critical to your game: Where do you roll the dice? Where do your draw and discard piles live without being in the way?
It could be that your table is small (the only one you could fit in your flat), or that your game is huge (Star Wars Armada, 40k). In either case, how do you solve the lack of space without buying a bigger table?
The answer is, of course, Game Frame!
The modular Game Frame system attaches directly to the edge of your table and allows you to add everything from mug holders to card draws, dice towers to life counters. It has slots to place your cards and even phone and tablet holder options with concealed cable routing. This system is even designed in such a way that you can surround your whole table!
How does it work?
The foundation of the system is the base unit, which comes in 3 different lengths (5cm, 10cm and 20cm).
These base units are designed to accommodate tables of varying thickness, with options from 2cm to 12cm! If your table is the same thickness as one of the options, we would recommend selecting the next size up. This allows for any inaccuracy in measuring and reduces the likelihood of scratching the tabletop (trust us on that one!). If you are worried about the table surface, you could always add some felt to the underside of the table attachment.
The base units are attached to the table using screws to clamp them in place and connected to the next base unit with a link piece. Once this is done, you are ready to attach the top!
As with the bases, the tops come in same 3 length options and are varying designs to accommodate different accessories (more on that later). At this point it is worth noting that 1 large (20cm) top will fit on 2 medium (10cm) bases attached together and 2 medium tops will fit on 1 large base. The small (5cm) tops only fit the small bases and vice versa. This is why you only tend to find the small bases in use with a full table setup, or where someone desperately wants a pen/pencil holder!
All the top pieces simply click into place and have handy guide notches to ensure that you cannot attach them incorrectly. When it comes time to disassemble your Game Frame, you simply remove any accessories and then unclip the top to remove it.
Accessories
All the accessories are based on 4 designs: Rectangle, Square, Circle and Small Rectangle.
Before we dive into all the various accessories that are available for Game Frame, we should first explore the tops in a little more detail.
Each size top comes in a few different options to accommodate the various accessory designs as well as blank surfaces. The only real limitations are that the rectangle only fits on a large top and the small rectangle is the only hole that can fit on the small top.
The tops have holes in them that the accessories simply drop into and there are also options available in the large tops that provide you with a wider surface suitable for writing on.

There are a few additional accessories available, but we will let you explore those on the website!
